Nigeria’s Falconets continued their impressive run at the WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup with a convincing 3-0 victory over Benin Republic in their second group game on Sunday.
Head coach Moses Aduku’s team took control early, with Kareem Ramotalahi opening the scoring in the 15th minute after a well-worked move.
Kareem was once again the star of the show as she doubled Nigeria’s advantage in the 58th minute, dazzling past a defender before calmly finding the back of the net.
Substitute Precious Oscar sealed the win with a late strike deep into stoppage time to put the result beyond doubt.
The Falconets, who began their campaign with a 3-1 triumph over Ghana on Saturday, now sit comfortably at the top of the table with six points.
They will face Ghana again in their next match on Tuesday, November 11.
