Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, escaped unhurt after being involved in a minor road mishap on Sunday evening while returning from Daura.
The incident occurred along the Daura–Katsina Road shortly after the governor paid a condolence visit to the residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura.
Confirming the development, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, released a statement, assuring the public that there was no cause for alarm.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
Mohammed further noted that Governor Radda “remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”
