Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has publicly criticized a social media influencer for wishing death on an unnamed politician, describing the act as unacceptable.

The actress took to her Instagram page to voice her concerns, stressing that political disagreements should never justify inhumane behavior.

“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity,” Badmus wrote. “As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity—not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division.”

The actress urged Nigerians to prioritize empathy and humanity above political differences, emphasizing the need for constructive engagement rather than hostility.

Meanwhile, activist Adetoun Onajobi has sparked controversy with her sharp criticism of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, questioning why Nigerians should mourn a leader who, in her view, failed to improve the country’s healthcare system.

In a widely circulated video, Onajobi highlighted Buhari’s reliance on foreign medical treatment despite his administration’s promises to upgrade Nigeria’s health infrastructure.

“Buhari’s administration was full of noise about building hospitals, yet he never trusted the country’s healthcare system when it mattered most,” she said.

She expressed frustration over what she described as excessive spending on overseas medical trips by Nigerian leaders while ordinary citizens struggle with inadequate healthcare facilities. “Many Nigerians continue to suffer and die in poorly equipped public hospitals, yet our leaders jet out at the slightest ailment,” she added.
