Former Super Eagles striker, Daniel Amokachi, has expressed confidence in Tammy Abraham’s ability to make a big impact at Turkish giants Besiktas.

Abraham recently secured a move from AS Roma to Besiktas on a season-long loan, with an option for the deal to become permanent in the 2026–27 season for €13 million.

The 27-year-old completed his medical in Istanbul on Tuesday and is expected to lead the line for the Black Eagles during the 2025–26 campaign.

In a chat with Süperbahis, Amokachi praised Abraham’s qualities and assured Besiktas supporters that the forward will deliver goals.

“Tammy, I see the potential in you to become the next Black Bull. I believe in you, and I’m sure that as long as you keep scoring goals, this big Besiktas family will love you more and more.

“You can count on that. This season is going to be something special,” the former Everton forward and FA Cup winner told Süperbahis.

Abraham originally joined Roma from Chelsea in 2021 for €41 million on a five-year deal and helped the club clinch the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League title in 2022.

He most recently spent the 2024–25 season on loan at AC Milan, where he netted 10 goals in all competitions, showcasing his consistency and ability at the top level.
