Paris Saint-Germain captain, Marquinhos, has opened up about the emotional and personal struggles he faced during his time at the club, particularly in the lead-up to their historic UEFA Champions League triumph.

The French giants delivered a stunning performance on Saturday night, dismantling Inter Milan 5-0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich to secure their first-ever Champions League title.

A dominant display saw goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, young talent Senny Mayulu, and a brace from Desire Doue seal what is now the most emphatic victory in a Champions League final.

After the final whistle, an emotional Marquinhos addressed the media, reflecting on the journey and expressing heartfelt gratitude to the supporters who stood by the team through thick and thin.

“I love you. I gave my all. I suffered a lot. But tonight has shown the club’s worth. Our fans are everywhere in the world. I love this team. Enjoy it, guys! It’s ours! We’re bringing it home,” he said.
