Seven Doors, a film by Femi Adebayo, emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, securing two major acting awards during Saturday night’s ceremony.
Adebayo took home the award for **Best Lead Actor**, while Chioma Chukwuka won **Best Lead Actress** for her performance in the same film. Accepting both accolades, Adebayo’s project was recognized as one of the standout Nollywood productions of the year.
The AMVCA, held on May 10, 2025, celebrated excellence in African film and television, bringing together creatives from across the continent in a night filled with recognition and tributes to artistic achievement.
Veteran actors Sani Mu’azu and Nkem Owoh were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards, acknowledging their decades-long contributions to African cinema. Meanwhile, director Kayode Kasum was presented with the Trailblazer Award, a recognition of his innovative storytelling and genre-defying work.
Among other notable winners, Lateef Adedimeji’s historical drama Lisabi (The Uprising) claimed multiple awards, further solidifying its critical success this year.
