A black-and-white Newcastle shirt bearing “Isak 14” has been filmed going up in flames, a dramatic show of fury from a Magpies supporter as speculation over Alexander Isak’s future reaches boiling point.
The viral clip, shared via Yahoo Sports and racking up close to a million views in less than a day, comes amid mounting reports that the Swedish striker is eager to swap St. James’ Park for Anfield. Liverpool are said to be keen, and tensions among Newcastle fans are starting to spill over.
Isak, who only recently helped Newcastle end a decades-long trophy drought by scoring in their 2–1 League Cup win over Liverpool, is currently away from full team training.
Instead, he has been spotted working out with his former club, Real Sociedad, before switching to an individual fitness programme.
With the Premier League’s opening weekend looming, he is not expected to make the squad for Newcastle’s clash against Aston Villa, leaving supporters to wonder if his last game in black and white may already be behind him.
